A young doctor is driving across the country for a major job interview when a car accident leaves him stuck in a small town. Instead of moving on to the career he planned, he is sentenced to work at the local hospital, where the slow pace, strange locals, and unexpected responsibilities begin to change the way he sees his future. As he gets pulled deeper into the town’s life and meets someone who makes leaving harder, he must choose between ambition, comfort, and the kind of life he never expected to want. A warm romantic comedy drama about career, love, and discovering that the wrong road can sometimes lead to the right place.

Tonight on *24 with Fardad Farahzad* President Donald Trump declares that the Islamic Republic's military capabilities are nearing collapse and vows to continue U.S. pressure until what he describes as victory. The program examines reports of a joint Trump–Netanyahu plan to impose a land blockade on Iran aimed at cutting off the regime's economic lifelines, alongside an exclusive report on the arrest of an alleged Iranian intelligence-linked hacker accused of targeting more than 150 American institutions. It also explores Washington's evolving strategy toward Tehran, the debate over continued military operations versus diplomacy, and growing divisions within Iran over whether to prolong the confrontation or pursue negotiations.

124. New Mexico’s Hidden Crisis: Homelessness and Drugs Out of Control - It's Worse Than You Think

Beneath the breathtaking landscapes of New Mexico lies a dark and growing reality — a crisis fueled by homelessness and drugs. While many see New Mexico as a place of culture, beauty, and tradition, the streets tell another story: countless lives trapped in cycles of addiction, poverty, and despair. This video dives deep into the roots of this hidden crisis, revealing how failing systems, rising housing costs, and the widespread availability of narcotics are pushing vulnerable people further to the edge.

We talk to local residents, outreach workers, and even those living on the streets to understand how this situation spiraled out of control. Their voices paint a raw picture of what it means to lose everything and still try to survive. This is not just a New Mexico issue — it reflects a larger problem of homeless in America, where cities across the country face similar struggles.

As we explore these stories, we also confront tough questions: Should the government provide free housing? Are current drug policies helping or hurting? And what role should local communities play in breaking the cycle? The crisis of homeless in America is complex, and New Mexico is now one of its most visible battlegrounds.

Watch until the end as we uncover not just the pain, but also the resilience and hope that still exist amid the chaos. It’s time to face the truth about homeless in America — and what it says about the future of our society.

This was an expected, but serious response from Iran

In response to Iran firing missiles at two US warships in the Middle East, the US military just destroyed three Iranian oil tankers. This is actually a pretty big escalation in a few ways. First off, the launching missiles at our aircraft carrier is significant and not something we’ve seen in a while but then the US response was serious, actually sinking commercial vessels in this key waterway.

That said, we’re still at a bit of an impasse where neither Iran nor the US seem willing to give an inch as the pressure mounts in different ways.

This morning, Russia has fired attack drones less than 1km from Poland’s border crossing as NATO fighter jets scramble to intercept possible strikes. Alerts have been issued as forces remain on high alert. Meanwhile, Poland has declared that it’s preparing for war with Putin and says that they know he’s “plotting” an attack on their territory — which has caused Polish border forces to be deployed with body armor and helmets (and we have more details on that). Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Russian sanctions bill has passed Congress and is now headed to the Presidents desk to be signed into law as the Kremlin reacts with brand-new threats against U.S. forces. And we have also seen massive attacks on Russia’s major Rostov airfield damaging several military aircraft in huge explosions, and the destruction of the Yaroslavl oil refinery along with several other major hits.
