Kremlin Echoes Trump on Helping US Farmers—As Russia Bombs Ukraine Power Grid
Thank You for Standing With Ukraine

Russia is pounding Ukraine's energy infrastructure while serious questions emerge about missile warnings and new Starlink restrictions affecting Ukrainian military operations. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukraine's Air Force clarify what happened during the latest ballistic missile attacks: partner warnings were missing during the first wave, but information reached Ukrainian military officials during subsequent attacks.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian technology adviser Serhii Flash reports that SpaceX introduced new Starlink speed restrictions without warning, disrupting Ukrainian military missions. Poland's foreign minister publicly challenges Elon Musk over the reported restrictions, while reports of an arson attack on Starlink-related infrastructure in Bulgaria raise additional security concerns. These developments come as Ukraine continues defending its skies against Russian missiles and increasingly dangerous drones.
At the same time, the Kremlin launches an aggressive messaging offensive aimed at Washington. Kirill Dmitriev argues that sanctions against Russia hurt American farmers, Dmitry Peskov challenges the substance of Donald Trump's proposed energy ceasefire and accuses Europe of sabotaging peace efforts, and Russian officials demand the return of frozen assets. Moscow also accuses Ukraine of undermining an energy truce even as Russian forces continue attacking Ukraine's power infrastructure.
Greg Terry examines these contradictions, the Kremlin's efforts to influence American policy, the escalating challenges facing Ukraine's defense systems, and reports of Ukrainian strikes against Russian banking data centers. The central question remains: Is Washington confronting Russia's aggression, or allowing Moscow to shape the terms of the conversation?
