A Strategic US Defeat in Iran?
This isn't going well at all
The United States is stuck in Iran with no clear path to accomplish our objectives in this war anytime soon. Despite the bluster coming from the White House, it doesn’t seem Washington wants to escalate the conflict to force Iran’s capitulation. And in five months Iran hasn’t given an inch in regards to their denuclearization, their proxies or missile programs and have now added a term, that they will from here forward, control the Strait of Hormuz.
In fact some skeptics are now referring to this war as a strategic US defeat which I think is probably a bit premature, but unfortunately, I can see how they get there.
