Today, there are interesting updates from the Liman direction.

Here, Russian reinforcements attempting to stabilize the collapsing situation east of the Zherebets River are increasingly being destroyed before they can even reach the frontline. Ukraine’s Muramasa drone unit, operating as part of the Third Army Corps, has released footage showing strikes against Russian columns moving through the Kreminna area, demonstrating how Ukrainian forces are extending their campaign deeper into the Russian rear.

The targets are not limited to large convoys, as Ukrainian operators are systematically hunting individual vehicles, groups of soldiers, firing positions, and logistical assets moving toward Russian defensive positions. This creates a serious problem because Ukraine is simultaneously applying pressure toward and across the Zherebets.

As a result, every reinforcement vehicle destroyed around Kreminna represents troops or equipment that cannot replace losses farther west, with entire columns wiped out while still moving through the Russian rear, long before they can reach the positions they were dispatched to reinforce. Instead of fresh troops arriving to stabilize the frontline, Ukrainian drones are turning the roads leading toward it into a continuous attrition zone where Russian columns can be detected, tracked, and destroyed while still in transit.

However, according to the Third Army Corps commander Andriy Biletsky, this is only the beginning. During a meeting with captured Russian soldiers, Biletsky told them they were fortunate to have surrendered now rather than later. He explained that Ukrainian forces would continue fighting until Russian troops had been driven from Ukrainian territory, before adding an ominous warning that his troops have a surprise prepared for the Russians over the coming two months.

Some indications of what is happening are already emerging, as Ukrainian troops are capturing not merely ordinary infantrymen, but increasingly valuable military specialists like mortar crew members, drone operators, electronic-warfare personnel, and other soldiers responsible for maintaining the support network behind Russian assault formations. Losing these personnel is considerably more damaging than simply losing another infantryman, which Russia usually sends forward in one-way suicide attacks.

Despite Russia replacing ordinary assault infantry at enormous human cost, replacing experienced and technically trained soldiers is much harder, as such specialists require training, experience, and integration into functioning battlefield networks.

Every captured drone operator means fewer Russian drones are searching for Ukrainian assault groups, while every missing mortar specialist removes another source of immediate fire support. Every lost electronic-warfare operator potentially creates another opening through which Ukrainian drones can penetrate Russian positions and logistics, as confirmed by the footage from the Muramasa unit around Kreminna.

As a result, even now Ukrainian drones are operating deep enough behind Russian lines to find and destroy moving reinforcement vehicles. If Russian electronic-warfare coverage, reconnaissance, and command structures continue to deteriorate, these rear areas will become progressively less protected, allowing Ukrainian operators to extend their kill zone farther east.

Crucially, it remains unclear where all these Russian specialists are being captured, as some could have been trapped during the destruction of Russian positions west of the Zherebets, while others may have been captured during Ukrainian raids farther east. That uncertainty itself is significant because the Third Army Corps has again imposed extensive operational silence over its continuing actions.

Captured Russians reinforce the picture of increasing organizational breakdown, as they describe being abandoned by their commanders, receiving few or no reinforcements, and frequently operating with inadequate supplies, as the problem extends beyond battlefield casualties into command, logistics and unit cohesion.

Overall, the situation east of the Zherebets would become even more dangerous for Russia, as reinforcement columns are already being destroyed around Kreminna while specialists disappear from frontline formations and Ukrainian raids continue under operational silence. If General Biletsky’s promised surprise represents the next stage of Operation Vivaldi, Russia may discover that the collapse west of the river was not the end of Ukraine’s offensive operation, but merely the preparation for something considerably larger and more painful.

These constant attacks are not normal

Russia is at war with NATO, we just won’t accept it yet. Everyone’s waiting for tanks to roll across a border or missiles to strike NATO airfields but in the meantime Russia is striking Turkish ships off the coast of Romania, setting fire to drone factories in Estonia and threatening nuclear war because they don’t like ongoing exercises.
I mean just today Germany said the risk of violent conflict with Russia is increasing.

257. ACA on the Brink: Homeless Lives Hanging by a Thread - Homeless in America

ACA on the Brink: Homeless Lives Hanging by a Thread – Homeless in America uncovers the deadly stakes facing unhoused Americans as the Affordable Care Act edges toward collapse. This documentary follows people who depend on ACA-covered emergency care, addiction treatment, mental-health services, and life-saving medications—support that could disappear overnight if the system fails. Through raw street interviews, hospital frontline footage, and stories of individuals already slipping through the cracks, the film exposes how fragile the safety net truly is. With shelters overwhelmed, Medicaid stretched thin, and winter pushing survival to the limit, the collapse of ACA could turn a crisis into a mass-casualty disaster. This documentary asks a chilling question: when healthcare falls apart, what happens to those who already have nothing left?

1) by Manouchehr Kouhestani:

Come! Your love hath set my wits astray,
Once a fair town, I'm now in disarray;
From home and kin, your love hath made me part,
To dwell within the house of aching heart.

Inert, I was, too shamed to speak thereof,
Yet, at your sight, I found my life's true love;
I saw our souls were kindred, pure and true,
From kith and kin, I've strayed, dear one, for you.

I read of lovers' tales both night and day,
And now, in love with you, I am the play.

***********

By all the lives of drunkards, I do swear,
I am besotted, ruthless love, beware;
Upon the soul of every myrmidon,
A kindred spirit, now I am become.

By souls emancipated, I declare,
In this sweet potion, freedom's in the air;
As learned scribe, like Mercury, I'd fare,
O'er scholars all, with ink and slate to bear.

But when the wine-bearer's brow came into view,
I drowned in drink, and all my quills I threw.

***********
Thou bid'st me tear the veil of honour's claim,
And so, obedient, I forsook its fame;
Thou bid'st me shatter chalices, and hence,
I left my friends to bind my heart to thine embrace.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
2) by JZ

Come! For in your love I have lost my mind.
Once a city, now I am a ruin.

From your love I moved out of my home, left my family.
Now my bedmate is the pain of longing.

Never mind how passive I was before I saw you.
Now I’m a real man.

When I saw how sweetly our souls were related
I became a stranger to my own family.

Day and night I consumed the tales of lovers,
Now consumed by your love, I am the tale.

I swear on the souls of all holy drunkards, I am drunk on your love!
O Beloved, take my hand.

I swear by all who risk their lives for God, I am life.
I swear on the souls of the freed, I am free!

I trailed after books like Mercy after the sun.
I ranked high among intellectuals.

When I saw what was written on the Wine-bearer’s face
I broke all pens in my drunken frenzy.

You commanded, rip the veil; I ripped it!
You commanded, break the chalice; I broke it!

You commanded I cut ties with my friends.
I left all and bound myself to you.

Tonight on *24 with Fardad Farahzad* , the program opens with U.S. President Donald Trump attacking critics of a possible agreement with Iran, saying opponents “know nothing” about the negotiations. Trump says the Obama administration’s policies toward the Islamic Republic led to war, while reports indicate that talks between Tehran and Washington have now entered the decisive stage over the fate of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles. Reuters reports that Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Abbas Araghchi have traveled to Doha during sensitive negotiations, as Iranian state media speak of efforts to release blocked Iranian assets. The episode examines growing concerns in Israel over a possible Tehran-Washington understanding, with opposition leader Yair Lapid warning that the agreement would fail to achieve Israel’s war objectives. The program also covers criticism inside Iran over the negotiation process, as some lawmakers argue that no commitment should weaken the country’s deterrence capabilities. In addition, the episode explores Trump’s push for expanding the Abraham Accords, regional diplomatic efforts involving Qatar, Pakistan, and China, and increasing divisions among U.S. Republicans over the potential agreement.
