Shadow Industry and Sovereign Capability Minister Andrew Hastie has grilled Energy Minister Chris Bowen over the six cancelled fuel shipments to Australia.

“When was the Minister advised that six shipments of vital fuel supplies bound for Australia were cancelled?” Mr Hastie said during Question Time on Monday.

“How many ships have been cancelled to date?”

Shadow Scrutiny of Government Waste Minister Tony Pasin believes Labor will, without a doubt, win the SA election.

“I don’t think any serious punter is suggesting anything other than a Labor victory tonight, but it’s a question of degree,” Mr Pasin told Sky News Australia.

“Labor operatives were very concerned very early in the pre-poll about how many people and the cohorts of people that were taking One Nation how-to votes.

“I think there’ll be a lot of Labor versus One Nation contests and Liberal versus One Nation contests.”

US President Donald Trump is urging allies to help reopen and secure the critical Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said countries reliant on Middle East oil should send warships to the region alongside the United States.

“Many countries… will be sending War Ships, in conjunction with the United States of America, to keep the Strait open and safe,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The strategic waterway handles roughly one-fifth of the world’s traded oil supply.

Trump vowed the US will ensure the passage remains “open, safe and free” despite Iranian threats.

Deputy Liberal Leader Jane Hume claims the “devastating” South Australian election result for the Liberal Party wasn’t “unexpected”.

“There’s no sugar coating it, it wasn’t a terrific result for the Coalition,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.

“There’s an awful lot to learn here, but I think the biggest message for the federal Coalition is that Australia is looking for change.”

So it looks like Ukraine just took out another Tu-95 bomber, on the runway, pretty far inside Russian territory. That would be the second Russian strategic bomber hit by a Ukrainian drone in the past six weeks. Same airfield actually which seems like maybe there’s a little gap in their air defense to say the least.

The Kremlin has now publicly responded after the CIA director’s trip to Moscow—and Dmitry Peskov’s message was unmistakable: Russia says its offensive continues, negotiations over Ukraine are “deeply on pause,” and Moscow claims the battlefield remains in its favor.

We examine Peskov’s statements, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski’s warning that NATO should accelerate its defense preparations, and Alexander Lukashenko’s striking comments about a “common problem” in southern Belarus and southwestern Russia ahead of his meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine is also continuing its long-range campaign against Russian military and energy infrastructure. Satellite imagery discussed in the video shows damage to a Tu-95 bomber at Engels-2 airbase, while strikes on Russian oil infrastructure continue. At the same time, Russia is heavily targeting Ukrainian commercial and logistics infrastructure, including Nova Poshta sorting centers and Epicentr locations.

Studies show that excavation work is one of the most hazardous types of work done in the construction industry. Injuries from excavation work tend to be of a very serious nature and often result in fatalities.

The primary concern in excavation-related work is a cave-in. Cave-ins are much more likely to be fatal to the employees involved than other construction-related accidents.

OSHA has emphasized the importance of excavation safety through outreach and inspection efforts based upon data which clearly establishes the significant risk to employees working in and around excavations. Furthermore, a high rate of injuries has continued to occur in and around excavations.
