In this video, we break down a dramatic Ukrainian drone strike against Russia’s so-called “Shadow Fleet” near the Kerch Strait.

At 3:20 a.m., eight Russian oil tankers left Taganrog, carrying 7,000 tons of fuel toward Crimea. But waiting in the darkness were 45 Ukrainian AN-196 Liutyi attack drones, already moving across the Sea of Azov with one mission: stop the fuel from reaching Kerch.

What followed was not a simple drone raid. Russian Krasukha-4 electronic warfare systems tried to choke Ukrainian control signals. S-400 batteries launched waves of missiles over the Sea of Azov. Pantsir-S1 systems opened fire with missiles and 30 mm cannons. A Svetlyak patrol boat became the final defensive shield for the convoy.

But Ukraine used low-altitude flight, autonomous guidance, decoys, swarm tactics, and computer vision to push through layer after layer of Russian defense.

In the final moments, only two Ukrainian drones remained. And what they did next turned Russia’s secret fuel convoy into a burning disaster at the gateway to Crimea.

This strike was not just about one tanker. It was a direct hit on Russia’s logistical lifeline into Crimea — proving that even the Sea of Azov is no longer a safe rear area for Moscow.

Russia has bombarded Romania with attack drones as Romanian air forces shot down the 3rd drone in the past few days. Meanwhile Putin has entered a complete delusion, and is stating that Ukraine should be dissolved and divided up amongst eastern European countries and Russia. Meanwhile Ukrainian drones are still slamming Russian logistics along the M14 highway. In the Middle East the US has made it clear that they are actually trying negotiations with Iran. Iran has stated they will not fire as long as the US fires back, but they will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is also still threatening Ukraine over the ship attack in the Caspian yesterday.

One Nation South Australia Candidate Cory Bernardi weighs in on recent comments made by One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce in which he compared immigration to “buying cattle”.

“Let me presume the context that is going to come out here; if, when you go to buy cattle, you choose the best cattle available to help your stocks and your herd, well, shouldn’t we be doing the same in our immigration policy?” Mr Bernardi said.

“We want the best and brightest to come here, rather than just the teeming hordes of people who come here for welfare.

The Black Sea Fleet has abandoned Sevastopol entirely. The last warship left in July 2024. Ukrainian naval drones made the port too dangerous to operate from. The M-14 highway corridor is under Ukrainian drone fire control. The Kuban-Crimea gas pipeline has been sabotaged. Over 500 Russian air defense units have been destroyed in and around the peninsula in four months alone. Property prices in Sevastopol have collapsed by more than 40%. Insurance companies refuse to issue travel policies for Crimea at any price. And now mobilization has turned the peninsula into a literal trap — men living there have nowhere to flee, because the bridge is monitored, the ferry is limited, and the northern border is the front line. Retired US Army General Ben Hodges has laid out exactly how this ends — not through invasion, but through strangulation. Three simultaneous phases: isolation, degradation, economic collapse. Putin built a fortress. Ukraine turned it into a cage.
