91 - Texas Homeless Crisis 2026: Extreme Weather and Poverty Push Lives to the Edge | Homeless in America

Texas — the land of strength, pride, and independence — is now facing a growing humanitarian crisis hidden beneath its booming cities. In this 2026 episode of US HOMELESS STORIES, we uncover how extreme weather, fentanyl, and poverty are pushing thousands of Texans to the edge of survival.

From Dallas to Houston and Austin, this documentary exposes the growing gap between wealth and despair. Floods, scorching summers, and freezing winters have left the state’s homeless population battling not just addiction, but the elements themselves. Through emotional interviews and unfiltered street footage, we reveal the real face of Texas — a place where dreams collapse under the weight of reality.

📍 Question For You :
If even Texas — the land of opportunity — is breaking down, what does that say about the rest of America? Share your thoughts below.

Ukraine has struck multiple oil tankers in the Sea of Azov and Black Sea leading to a crisis in Crimea as fuel shortages worsen. The drone barrage came as multiple refineries in Omsk, St. Petersburg, Nizhnekamsk, Tver and Mikhailovsk were smashed by long range drones.

Russian responded with a brutal days long barrage of Ukrainian cities that killed over 20 people. However, after Zelensky's outcry - Donald Trump has signalled that Ukraine may get the license to manufacture Patriot missiles domestically.

And Jerome Starkey brings you latest from on the ground Russian forces continue to push in Sumy and Kupyansk but Ukrainian troops are attempting to hold the lines in Konstantinivkya.

The U.S.-Canada trade war is heating up again as President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney clash over tariffs, trade, and the terms of their economic relationship.

Victor Davis Hanson argues that Carney’s confrontation with Trump is driven less by Canada’s economic strength than by political calculations—and that Canada may have far more to lose in a prolonged fight with its biggest trading partner.

Jack Fowler and Hanson also discuss Iran and the weakening of its regime, the impact of U.S. sanctions, the decline of Iranian-backed groups including Hezbollah and Hamas, and the possibility of a future uprising.

They examine Europe’s immigration and welfare policies, and how the “Trump effect” is leading to the rise of right-wing political movements.

They dive into what Donald Trump’s political “counterrevolution,” could mean for both the future of American politics, and politics worldwide.

Phase II of Operation Vivaldi is now complete

I guess warfare isn’t already terrifying enough. We now have Ukrainian drones dropping off other drones behind Russian lines, hunting down targets and exploding. That’s what’s happening right now as Ukraine continues their offensive in the east, Operation Vivaldi.

Brigadier General Biletsky, the commander of the 3rd Army Corps just announced the completion of phase two of this operation in the Lyman direction and we’re starting to see some changes made on public maps as well.

As the war with Iran continues, Washington is already confronting a major question: what should America’s military footprint in the Middle East look like when the fighting ends? Steve Yates tells Mike Baker that changes in warfare, stronger regional partners and the growing use of long-range strikes and economic pressure could allow the United States to reduce its presence without abandoning the region.

🎵 Nafas Borideh is an emotional Persian Soul-Blues ballad built around a tired, wounded voice and a deeply personal story of waiting, loneliness and emotional exhaustion.
🎤 Ramtin Honar Music
✍️ Lyrics: Ramtin Honarmandan
