US President Donald Trump is urging allies to help reopen and secure the critical Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said countries reliant on Middle East oil should send warships to the region alongside the United States.
“Many countries… will be sending War Ships, in conjunction with the United States of America, to keep the Strait open and safe,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The strategic waterway handles roughly one-fifth of the world’s traded oil supply.
Trump vowed the US will ensure the passage remains “open, safe and free” despite Iranian threats.
Shadow Scrutiny of Government Waste Minister Tony Pasin believes Labor will, without a doubt, win the SA election.
“I don’t think any serious punter is suggesting anything other than a Labor victory tonight, but it’s a question of degree,” Mr Pasin told Sky News Australia.
“Labor operatives were very concerned very early in the pre-poll about how many people and the cohorts of people that were taking One Nation how-to votes.
“I think there’ll be a lot of Labor versus One Nation contests and Liberal versus One Nation contests.”

Broadcaster Dee Dee Dunleavy has reacted to some of the emails Sarah Ferguson sent to Jeffrey Epstein after he was convicted of being a paedophile.
“Two days after he was released from prison, his assistant approached him and asked him would he pay for Sarah and for the girls to go to Miami. Now, we don’t know that he did pay for them,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Then we see other emails after that where he’s asking for his business contacts to be shown around Buckingham Palace by Sarah Ferguson, and would the girls be there; would the girls be able to show them around.
“It’s almost like she’s pimping them out, and it’s actually gut-churning; it’s sickening.”
There’s no suggestion of any wrongdoing, and Sarah Ferguson has yet to respond to any of the allegations from the Epstein files.
One Nation South Australia Candidate Cory Bernardi weighs in on recent comments made by One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce in which he compared immigration to “buying cattle”.
“Let me presume the context that is going to come out here; if, when you go to buy cattle, you choose the best cattle available to help your stocks and your herd, well, shouldn’t we be doing the same in our immigration policy?” Mr Bernardi said.
“We want the best and brightest to come here, rather than just the teeming hordes of people who come here for welfare.
“People of Australia are waking up to the fact that mass immigration has not worked to our economic, our social or our cultural advantage.”
Sky News host Rita Panahi has celebrated with the people of Iran after US-Israeli strikes killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Writer Esther Krakue claims the “damage is already done” for Bill Gates after new allegations about him surfaced from the Epstein files.
“The allegation that he presumably got an STD from a Russian prostitute that was associated with Jeffrey Epstein was actually written in a note by Jeffrey Epstein to himself,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“So, it wasn’t actually a form of correspondence.
“They’re allegations that he wrote that for the purpose of explicit blackmailing.”

“As I keep saying, the answer to that is not yet.”
Sky News host Rita Panahi discusses the Iranian regime killing their own people by the thousands.
“This is something Donald Trump said early on, he told [Iran] to lay down their arms, and they would essentially have immunity,” Ms Panahi said.
“But they are not going to have immunity from the Iranian people; they’ve just slaughtered tens of thousands of people in the street.
“They just hanged publicly teenagers, including a sporting champion, so they’re not going to just walk away and say, ' Oops, we were just on the wrong side'.”
