The U.S. Secret Service says it’s aware of Iranian state media video threatening the president’s son, Barron Trump, and offering a reward of $10 million. The video purports to track the movements of the president’s 20-year-old son and opens by asking, "Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?" Nate Herring, a spokesman for the Secret Service, told NPR that "The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees." During Friday prayers in Ahvaz on August 7, Mousavifard reportedly said Iran is preparing to extend its missile range to 15,000 kilometres—a range that could theoretically put the continental United States within reach. Mousavifard also called for “revenge” and urged the destruction of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while claiming Iran’s missiles can already reach Jerusalem. Iran is widely believed to possess the Middle East’s largest and most diverse missile arsenal, with thousands of ballistic and cruise missiles.
