The Kremlin has now publicly responded after the CIA director’s trip to Moscow—and Dmitry Peskov’s message was unmistakable: Russia says its offensive continues, negotiations over Ukraine are “deeply on pause,” and Moscow claims the battlefield remains in its favor.

We examine Peskov’s statements, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski’s warning that NATO should accelerate its defense preparations, and Alexander Lukashenko’s striking comments about a “common problem” in southern Belarus and southwestern Russia ahead of his meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine is also continuing its long-range campaign against Russian military and energy infrastructure. Satellite imagery discussed in the video shows damage to a Tu-95 bomber at Engels-2 airbase, while strikes on Russian oil infrastructure continue. At the same time, Russia is heavily targeting Ukrainian commercial and logistics infrastructure, including Nova Poshta sorting centers and Epicentr locations.

We also break down Kyrylo Budanov’s latest assessment of the war and new Ukrainian information about Russia’s Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered drones—including reported production approaching 3,000 drones per month and a confirmed flight of roughly 960 kilometers from Crimea toward northwestern Ukraine.

So it looks like Ukraine just took out another Tu-95 bomber, on the runway, pretty far inside Russian territory. That would be the second Russian strategic bomber hit by a Ukrainian drone in the past six weeks. Same airfield actually which seems like maybe there’s a little gap in their air defense to say the least.
