سیاست با مراد ویسی: وزیر دفاع جدید یا وزیر موشک‌های قاره‌پیما؟

Tue, 06 Oct 2026 01:41:32 +0000

Putin Just Started Seizing What He Needs to Keep the War Going

Sun, 20 Sep 2026 22:51:28 +0000

I examine the economic stresses surrounding Russia’s September 2026 Duma election and what Putin may do after securing the mandate he seeks. Reports this week pointed to fuel queues, the release of gasoline reserves ahead of voting, corporate-bond defaults reportedly up 63% year over year, and a 12% decline in Russian travel-agency demand.

I also look at the agricultural dislocation: sunflower prices have fallen amid a 50% export duty, while industry sources describe wheat exports as down at least 60%. The government’s proposed purchase of 3 million tons of grain is far below the 10 million tons analysts say may be needed in the south. Finally, I assess the reported transfer of Nestlé, Auchan, and other foreign subsidiaries to Lev Management, Aeroflot’s MC-21 delivery promises, and the pressure that economic hardship may place on recruitment and future Kremlin choices—from further seizures to mobilization or hybrid coercion.

Putin Is Gambling NATO Won’t Respond—and the West Is Playing With Fire

Thu, 27 Aug 2026 23:48:58 +0000

Thank You for Standing With Ukraine
https://ukrainesupportbridge.com/

Russia’s hybrid warfare against Europe may be entering a far more dangerous phase. In this conversation, Prof and Greg Terry examine sabotage, cyber operations, GPS interference, drones, suspected attacks beyond Ukraine, and the growing risk that Moscow could eventually miscalculate its way into a direct confrontation with NATO.

The discussion focuses on why Vladimir Putin may believe the West still lacks the willingness to respond decisively. Greg draws on more than three decades of experience working in Russia and the region to explain the Kremlin mindset, while the conversation turns to Germany, Poland, the Baltic states, Moldova, Transnistria, Odessa, and the possibility that Russia is deliberately testing the limits of NATO’s tolerance.

They also examine signs surrounding possible Russian mobilization, Moscow’s wartime economy, NATO air-defense shortages, Donald Tusk’s increasingly forceful posture toward Russia, and the danger that one hybrid operation causing significant European casualties could trigger political pressure for a much stronger response.

The central warning is simple: Russia may view Western restraint not as de-escalation, but as permission to keep pushing. Ukraine understands the Kremlin because it has been fighting this war for years. The question is whether Europe and the United States will recognize the danger before a calculated gamble becomes something no one can control.
